Kind, but confronting words from someone I respected.

And he was half right.

The truth is — I hadn’t just lost my spark.
I was in complete darkness… and had been for months.

I had spent 20 years building a career — and a reputation for being dependable, accomplished, and oh so resilient.

But somewhere along the way, I lost myself.
I lost my light.

Imagine a little solar garden light, buried beneath layers of dirt, leaves and debris.
So covered, it can’t emit any light at all — and no one even knows it’s there.

That was me.

Limiting beliefs. Self-doubt. Relentless inner pressure. Expectation. Overwhelm. Guilt. Chronic fatigue.

Over time, I began to clear those layers — with the support of incredible mentors, evidence-based tools, and a lot of honest work.

And what I realised is the light was never gone.
It just needed to be uncovered.

And once it was — it came back.
Warm. Bright. Steady.

The other thing I realised?

The light is portable.

It comes with me — wherever I go.
I can use it to light my own path.

And now, I use it to help others find theirs.
